My Fear

Manfred López Grem

A short documentary explores how a teen, born with a physical disability, finds a way to overcome his fear of change and not fitting in. Born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, a rare condition that severely limits his movement, 15-year-old writer, actor Diego Dávalos Amezcua plays himself in this heart-touching, mind-lifting short work and shows us his world in his native city of Uruapan, Mexico.

Manfred López Grem

Manfred López Grem is a Mexican film director who has directed around 30 short films, as well as documentaries, commercials, TV programs and other types of works. He is the founder of a small non-profit organization in Mexico focused on independent filmmaking. His work has included founding non-profit online talent platforms for writers, actors, dancers and other artists. He also maintains an active schedule teaching workshops, offering consulting services, keynoting conferences, and heading casting tours in several cities as part of his work related to Mexico’s National Actor’s Registry.
