Vancouver, BC – Submissions to the 2017 Vancouver Golden Panda International Film Festival (GPIFF) are now open. Global filmmakers are welcome to submit their works to the festival. Official selections for this year’s festival will enter the public screening held at Vancouver’s Vancity Theatre in Dec., 2017.

GPIFF 2017 Jury:
Led by Jiang Ping, director and current vice chairman and general manager of China Film Co., the distribution unit of China’s largest and most influential film enterprise, China Film Group Corporation, this year’s GPIFF welcomes acclaimed filmmakers from across the world to join the GPIFF 2017 Jury panel, including Stephen Nemeth, U.S. independent film producer, head of Rhino Films, three-time Sundance Award winner, one-time Academy Award nominee and legendary Chinese director and producer Ng See-yuen who is known for his role in promoting Hong Kong action film.
