Kôsuke Mukai, Japanese writer, cinematographer, editor. A young and talented screenwriter, Mukai is the creative mind behind an array of Japanese films and TV series including the well acclaimed Shinya Shokudô (2009 -present), Linda Linda Linda (2005), The Girl in the Sun (2013). In 2007, he was awarded the Ryuzo Kikushima Award by the Writers Association of Japan for his work The Matsugane Potshot Affair (2006). He is also the winner of the Best Screenplay Award at the 71 annual Mainichi Film Concours, one of Japan’s most privileged film awards, for his film Satoshi: A Move for Tomorrow (2016).
